Those photos that you just can't stop thinking about...
Every once in a while, I'll take a photo that I really like enough to want to keep going back to and looking at over and over again. Recently, I took a trip to San Francisco with my friends on the Larkspur ferry (highly recommended, by the way) and I took this one of the Golden Gate Bridge (my all-time favorite thing). I can't stop thinking about it.

Sometime, many many moons ago, I had this thought:
ReplyDeleteBlue is the most common favorite color. I think, by a fairly large margin. At the time, I was very interested in being as uncommon as I could, and didn't like having the same favorite color as everyone else. I thought, maybe I liked the same thing as everyone else, but I could like it MORE than everyone else... which turned into a 10 year blue-hair-dying-streak, which turned into an internet name, which became a brand name for the stuff I make & sell, etc etc.
Anyway, the point behind the story is:
I like your weird obsession with the bridge. It's like, everyone likes the bridge, everyone takes photos of it, but no one obsesses quite like you. It's quirky and weird and I like it.
